BANANA OAT PROTEIN PANCAKES
After traveling for 4 months we have officially stopped and landed in London to get our life back on track and into a routine – ie time to get a job! BUT if there is one thing I am enjoying about being unemployed, it is the free time to get creative and experimental in the kitchen with my breakfasts. I have never really been overly successful with protein pancakes because I find they can be quite dry and the raw mixture is nicer than the final product… until now. After many attempts, here is my simple and delicious protein pancake recipe. You can make it what ever flavour you want by adding some additions or going NUTS with the toppings. Try it this weekend and let me know how you go. Continue reading “BANANA OAT PROTEIN PANCAKES”

SUPPER WITH SARAH WILSON
I was on the bus the other day with Rob and saw the new I Quit Sugar Simplicious book in the window of a London book store and said “oh sick, her new book has hit the UK” and got a little bit of Aussie pride as let’s face it we are taking over the world; Kayla Itsines, James Duigan, Amanda Bisk and Lorna Jane just to name a few. Anyway that night weidly enough I saw that Sarah announced on her insta that she was holding a supper club IN LONDON whilst on her stay next week, so immediately booked tickets and then informed Rob of our 3 course sugar free date. A NEW YEAR; THE SWEET ’16
I cannot believe it is actually January and the start of a new year! 2015 absolutely flew by for me (and I am assuming the majority of you as well) but what a year it was. Every year I say “oh best year yet for sure” which gets me thinking how insanely awesome my life will be when I am 80 if this best yet status keeps up. Life honestly couldn’t get much better than it is right now. Sure there are the ‘minor’ things that could change or need a little tweaking but I am Healthy, Happy and Having a blast! The three H’s! Hell yeah Continue reading “A NEW YEAR; THE SWEET ’16”
CHRISTMAS SIDES AND SALADS
This Christmas I am in London and will be celebrating my first (not white) UK Christmas but also Christmas Eve dinner as my partner is of Polish heritage. I am on ‘salad and sides’ cooking duties and whipped up these incredibly delicious vegetable salads to go with the meat. We had 5 people at dinner and had lots of left overs for lunch the next day. Would serve up to 8 people happily. Here are my 3 recipes; Continue reading “CHRISTMAS SIDES AND SALADS”
