NEW MONTH NEW GOALS NEW CHANGE

Who loves a clean slate? (Insert little girl emoji with her hand in the air!!) I am all about the Monday fresh start each week especially after indulgent and eventful weekends. Then there are the new months and even the new seasons. It is starting to feel like a lot of things in my life are new at the moment. New country, new house, new non job, new local coffee spot… new life really.

So I am embracing the new and setting myself some goals for October. Whose with me? Because I can’t commit to much more than waking up at the moment I am going to stick with 3 simply goals. One for health, one for fitness and one for mindfulness. Here goes;

Goal 1; Drink MORE water – this is a hard one when traveling especially because drinking water is not as readily available as back home. If i can do it so can you. Up that H2O!!!

Goal 2; Take the stairs while you still can – airports, work, shopping centres, just take the stairs and show those legs what they are made for.

Goal 3; Appreciate my strengths rather than focusing on my weaknesses – who knew self love could open up so many more opportunities and happiness both internal and out. I have been focusing on this one a lot lately and I am already feeling better for it. Rather than looking in the mirror and hating something you see, look beyond the materialistic ‘ideal body’ shit and focus on your inner self, the fact that you are smiling and how good it feels to be living YOUR life. Now say it –  ”I am young, fit, happy, healthy and check out that killer ass”….. ;) *wolf whistle!
