When it comes to, dare I say it, “dieting” everyone seems to focus on what not to eat and how to eat less. Both of these things are not only WRONG but will lead to negative effects on your weight loss journey – and I’m not talking about a negative in weight on the scales.
So let’s keep it simple and focus on what TO eat. Here is my list for the 12 best foods for weight loss. Obviously everything in moderation but as long as you are eating these 13 items on the regular, you are bound to see results.

- SALMON
- AVOCADO
- EGGS
- BLUEBERRIES
- OLIVE OIL
- GREEK YOGHURT
- CHIA SEEDS / FLAX SEEDS
- PEANUT BUTTER
- BEANS / CHICKPEAS
- CHILI
- APPLES
Each of the above foods has its own reason for why it made it to the top 12 list and helps promote weight/fat loss. However, the majority of the foods are high in omega 3 fatty acids and lean protein to boost the metabolism, reduce appetite, burn more calories throughout your day and change weight regulating hormones.
